buc61b, in my case, P+ and P- don't work properly on new remote control after the last update: P+ (up arrow) switches to the previous channel (5->4->3...) and P- (down arrow) switches to the next channel (1->2->3...). In channel selection P+ works as PageDown and P- works as PageUp. But they should work conversely.

Cound you make a full backup of your image for debugging? Use ImageManager, choose tar or tar.gz format and don't forget to remove EMU settings and other confidentional info. Then put the archive to some file sharing server.
