I wonder if it can work my alligator with external reader like phoenix or smargo.
I tryed to use phoenix reader with oscam version 1.20 unstable 62.37 but cannot see the reader who is connected in receiver. I think that serial it is only for programing and usb only for upgrade and pvr.
When i tryed smargo via usb i had the same problem, because receiver hasn't the drivers for smargo.
Is it possible to find any solution? thanks

If you can find external reader driver source codes, then we can try to compile it. But is possible that in linux-2.6.12 they do not work.

Phoenix reader hasn't drivers, only must be connected on serial, but serial on alligator doesnot support it is only for programing , i think this is from software problem. For smargo exist driver but it must be compiled first bootloader like dreambox before many time and then to install driver.

How is it possible to work internal reader when i make local share in my house and my alligator work like server in menu mastershare and read my card , and when i want to use internal reader with oscam i cannot do it. Any solution for this problem?  problem it is from software? thanks

Internal reader with oscam can not be used because the reader does not have separate devices in /dev. For all in the receiver is responsible /dev/brcm0. I have tried specify in oscam.server this device but without result.
